Overseas buyers rarely reject fabric for hand-feel. They reject it for documentation gaps, inconsistent roll lengths and packing that fails in transit.
Colour fastness certification, azo-free declarations and pH reports are now table stakes for European buyers. Have them ready before the first sample ships.
Roll length tolerance is the quiet killer. A buyer cutting to a marker plan needs predictable lengths; a ten percent variance destroys their yield calculation.
Finally, packing. Sea freight is humid. Roll wrapping, desiccant and carton specification are not afterthoughts — they are part of the product.
